Wedding Bands For Sophia & Ellie
When S & E reached out about custom wedding bands, I was immediately excited. S had an heirloom family ring we needed to pair a wedding band with, which meant working around very specific measurements and delicate details.
The heirloom ring featured floral Art Deco elements with tiny protruding accents that made the pairing especially tricky. Every curve needed to fit just right.
For S, we created a delicate contour band set with six 1mm diamonds and a central 1.5mm focal diamond. Just the right amount of sparkle. Also, seven tiny opportunities to completely ruin the ring at the finish line if my focus slipped for even a second.
For E, we designed a smooth contour band that felt refined, understated, and timeless beside S’s more detailed ring.
What made this project especially meaningful was how intentional they were from the very beginning. S & E travelled from Alberta for their fittings so I could carefully measure the heirloom ring in person. They were thoughtful, trusting, and genuinely wonderful to work with.
I love creating wedding bands, but what really makes my heart sing is being invited into someone’s “I love you forever” story.
