LANABETTY SHIPPING OPTIONS AND FAQ (product pop-up)
PRODUCTION, DELIVERY, & RETURNS
PRODUCTION
Orders are often produced, packaged, and shipped in the order in which they are received. For an additional fee, we can upgrade your shipping and add a rush to your order. Please contact us if you need to receive your order by a certain date.
CUSTOM DESIGNS
To learn more about our custom design process, please click here. A custom, one-of-a-kind piece, such as an engagement ring, can take up to three months to design, prepare the supplies, and create. Do not leave it until the last minute, plan ahead! Contact us as soon as you can to start the conversation :)
READY-TO-SHIP
Ready-to-ship items are allocated and put into your order as soon as possible, please remember that we are not Amazon, sometimes get sick, and travel during the holidays to other cities for markets. We also may have orders ahead of yours and strive to complete those before shipping your order out. It's a delicate balancing act and we are really doing our best during the busiest times of the year. If you do reach out for an update, try to be polite, we don't want to let you down!
MADE-TO-ORDER
Rings and gemstone jewelry are very often made-to-order and that can mean it takes time to make your jewelry. During peak periods, production can take upwards of three weeks. If you need your order quickly, please contact us!
DELIVERY & SHIPPING DATES
Because of the on-going Canada Post strike, all timelines and shipping guarantees are no longer applicable. For USA shipping, it's a wild card, friends. Tarriff rules change frequently and with little notice. We are doing our best.
CANADA
VANCOUVER | LOCAL PICKUP
We are happy to offer Local Pickup to those wishing to visit our studio in Vancouver, BC. During checkout, you can choose Local Pickup as an option.
SHIPPING
We also ship! All orders destined for Canadian destinations are shipped as soon as they are ready and that isn't always the next day. Give us time to physically make your jewelry.
ALL OTHER DESTINATIONS (USA, EUROPE, INTERNATIONAL)
All orders shipped outside of Canada are delivered to the shipping company once a week, more frequently before the holidays - because of customs, we can't guarantee the shipping timelines quoted from the shipper (to be honest, it is beyond our control). If you are concerned about shipping delays, please contact us.
🇺🇸 USA: 11/25 USA Shipping is back on. Pins need duties pre-paid. Jewelry ships duty-free! Read more here.

WHAT IF I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY ORDER
MATERIALS USED: SAFE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN?
CAN GOLD TURN MY SKIN GREEN?
Sometimes, even the best gold jewelry can leave a faint green or dark mark on your skin—and while it’s rare, it’s totally normal. This reaction isn’t a flaw in your jewelry; it’s chemistry. Makeup, lotion, sweat, and even ocean air can interact with the natural alloys in gold (yes, even solid gold!) and cause a bit of surface discoloration.
To keep your pieces—and your skin—glowing, avoid wearing jewelry in chlorinated water, take it off before applying cosmetics, and clean it regularly to remove buildup. If the issue continues, reach out to our Care Team—we’re always here to help you keep your jewelry looking and feeling beautiful.
What is Gold-Filled?
Gold-fill isn’t “filled” with gold—it’s actually layers of real gold pressure-bonded over a strong jewelry-grade brass core using heat and pressure. By law, at least 5% of the piece’s total weight must be solid gold, creating a thick, durable layer that won’t easily wear away. It's 100x thicker than cheap gold plating you might see at H&M or Forever21. It’s the perfect middle ground between solid gold and gold-plated jewelry—offering the same golden glow and longevity at a more accessible price.
Bonus - it's lead, nickel, and cadmium free as well.
Caring for your gold-fill jewelry
With a little love, your gold-fill pieces can last for years. Keep them clean, dry, and safely stored, and avoid harsh chemicals or rough polishing. We include a polishing cloth for occasional touch-ups—use it gently and only when your jewelry looks dull. A light wipe goes a long way to keep your favorite pieces shining bright.
