Workshops are coming to our new Granville Island studio. Join the list to be the first to hear about upcoming dates...

You will learn to cut, file, bend, form, solder, and polish a trio of gold-filled and/or sterling silver wires into a finished set of stacking rings. This class will provide a basic overview of silversmithing techniques as you create beautiful pieces of handmade jewelry.

No experience necessary - students will have access to basic studio hand tools, and all materials are included with the class. As we do some fine detailed work, if you require glasses to see up close, please bring them along!

 

Your workshop includes:

• learning some basic techniques like sizing, annealing, sanding, polishing, texturing, soldering.
• sterling silver or gold-fill to complete your project
• a microfiber pouch to keep your pieces safe and sparkly
• light snack and alcohol-free bubbly
