Celebrate Canada with this hand-cut maple leaf necklace.

This year marks a change. A fundamental shift in how we understand our history and how we want to build our future, as a nation. Canada has a dark history that has been kept out of our education system and it is now the time to acknowledge our past and work together to build a future we can be proud of. The maple leaf represents the ideals we have so long strived to emulate; of unity, tolerance, and peace. One can only hope that with efforts of reconciliation, acceptance, and fundamental changes to the way we speak and think of indigenous peoples, that we can mend and grow and ultimately, be better, together.

Necklace length measures 18 inches (with a short extender), and a "LanaBetty" tag so you can tell all of your friends who made your necklace.

The pendants have been hand-cut in our Gastown studio, delicately filed, and finished in our tumbler. They are ready to ship.

It is important to also acknowledge that our studio is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh peoples.
