Powerful Prism

Ah, the long weekend. It rained today, we spent a full hour watching it rain. Not because we had to or because of any other reason other than because we wanted to. This weekend is about friends, relaxing, and bbq. Always bbq. We brought our most popular long necklace with us, a 32" sterling silver and gold plated steel necklace. Find them in our etsy shop, available in matte black, grey steel, raw steel, or gold steel. Oh! And sterling silver or brass (pictured below). Lanabetty.etsy.com. At the helm as e-shopkeeper and proprietor is broadcast, print and web journalist Tamara Komuniecki, who describes herself as "Independent, adventurous, impatient,...

Posted by 1 on

This weekend is my much awaited (and very first ever) sewing class! Sure, I took a sewing class in high school, but I very much doubt the draw-string toque sewing project I massacred really counts. All of my sewing projects, to date, have been self-taught. I look up tutorials, I have learned the lingo and my day job involves looking at mixed up stitches and misaligned fabrics. I am not completely inept, but I felt it was time to learn more. What a better way to indulge in a little "professional development" than a class led by the incredibly capable...
