Welcome to October

Well, it's October. Before I left for my honeymoon, September 1 was, quite possibly, the most beautiful day of the summer. The next day, it began to rain. I'm not sure I would have done anything different had I known September 1 was going to be the last day of summer, but seriously! The weather in Vancouver has taken a turn for the gloom and doom. Married Life

There are so many pictures and stories to share, how do even begin to share the overwhelming joy I feel in my heart? There are definitely a few wedding specific posts in my future! The last month has been so much fun. There was a culture-shocking trip to Europe, reconnections with friends, and of course, we've both been finding our groove in married life....

Learning to Fall

After a long absence from the blogosphere, it is good to be home and back in a regular schedule. So much has changed! On June 28th I worked my last day at my job before embarking on an incredible two-week Eastern Canada Adventure! It was hard to quit my job; I felt a lot of loyalty to my employer and the good things they were doing (think: pharmaceuticals that could help make peoples lives better), but ultimately, I had to choose myself and my career over them and I feel very good about it.
