Pack up the car, we're going to IDS West! From September 25th to 28th at the Vancouver Convention Centre, we'll be showing off our 3D printed designs with the very best of the (north west) best. IDS West is the western hub for all things design. Established in 2004, its the largest, contemporary design show on the West Coast and one of the largest in North America (excited yet?). The team has built a solid reputation on delivering premium products in a sophisticated environment, creating an efficient sourcing opportunity for consumers. There are over 250 exhibitors who have all been carefully reviewed to ensure consistency with the overall caliber and direction of the show. (but that's not all..) The district (that's where LanaBetty will be!) is the marketplace for designers to show and sell to discerning consumers and industry insiders. A unique, juried area, it is IDSwest’s popular cash and carry neighbourhood where attendees can take home good design. The District has been joyfully curated by Poppytalk (lovely people they are) who have a pretty fantastic lifestyle blog celebrating the beautiful, decayed, and handmade. The district, is located adjacent to the main stage, in the north-east corner of the show (come say hello!). (Wait... what makes Poppytalk so cool?) If you don't already subscribe to Poppytalk, now is the time to start. Not only is the blog bang on about design, DIY, and some seriously fabulous artists, they also have just opened a brick & mortar shop, created a line with Target called Poppytalk for Target, are really great Etsy Tastemakers, the list goes on! What makes Poppytalk great, in my opinion, is how well organized, carefully curated, and truly inspiring their entire brand is. From their instagram posts, to blog posts, to taste picks, to well, their choices for IDS West, I am encouraged and inspired to be better than I am for myself, my home, and my business. That's why we am so over-the-moon excited to participate in IDS West (so excited!)
