In the City: Nifty for Fifty

Posted by 1 on

Looking for an adventure this weekend? Or maybe you were thinking of hitting the "Mall" and picking up some new digs for spring? Why not hit up the "Nifty for Fifty" Event at Heritage Hall? The event is pretty cool in the way that no item sold at the show costs more than $50.00 so you are guaranteed to find some great goodies that are all appropriately priced.

Date: April 14, 2013 Time: 11:00am - 8:00pm Address: 3102 Main Street, Vancouver Admission: $1.00 Note: this event is cash only! Links: Website | Facebook 30 local designers and artists will gather under one roof for the sixth annual Nifty for Fifty shopping sale! Find everything from accessories to clothing and trinkets, all for $50 or less. Just in time to revamp that Spring wardrobe!

“Nifty for Fifty started out as a glorified fashion garage sale,” says event producer and Adhesif Clothing designer Melissa Ferreira. “It started with only a few designers and now it’s like Boxing Day in April!” Scour the racks for great finds by Vancouver’s finest indie designers, including Adhesif Clothing, Allison Wonderland, Elroy Apparel, Daub & Design, Sweet Harriet, MeiKu Designs, Floating Gold Iceberg, Bueno Style, Bronsino and so many more!  and “This sale is unlike any other in town, and it only happens once a year,” warns Melissa. “So if you want to get your hands on the really good stuff, be early!” Nifty for Fifty is happening April 14th 2013 from 11am-8pm at Heritage Hall (3102 Main Street). With something for everyone, come down with a gaggle of girlfriends – just make sure you break open the piggy bank beforehand because many vendors will only be accepting cash. Admission is $1 at the door.
