New Years Party - Emerald/Gold/Black

Posted by 1 on

Christmas is approaching fast - whoa. I have to do some shopping! [caption id="attachment_1828" align="alignright" width="300"]Emerald and Gold Silk Woven Bracelet Lux Stardust Bracelet | WCPY[/caption] The hardest part about this holiday season, for me, is definitely shopping for others. I walk into the mall and immediately inundated with all of the amazing, shiny, sparkly new things "I-HAVE-TO-HAVE" and the prices are so attractive! Why retailers, WHY!!? I think it might have something to do with the fact that I avoid most shopping malls like the plague. Did you know "mall" is a four letter word? True story - ask the founders of Got Craft? - that was a great way to get Christmas presents - I squandered my free time at the show chatting (typical) and shopping for myself (also typical). One of my favorite times of the year, I can't help but think about sparkles, bubbles, and my favorite, high heels and dancing! As 2012 comes to a close, I cannot help looking back and reflecting on 2012. It was a busy year! Highlights include quitting a miasmatic and mind-numbing job for the one I currently hold (which, btw, is awesome). We made leaps and bounds working towards planning our wedding. We traveled to Toronto and Montreal, where I got to take a TRAIN (Via Rail, First Class, so cool). I began working on some seriously incredible LanaBetty projects, had the biggest year in sales to date and attended over 15 - FIFTEEN shows and markets. The list is large, but I'll post about that later. [caption id="attachment_1831" align="alignright" width="213"]Black and Gold Garland Gold & Black Garland | Ayca[/caption] Did you have a great year? What were your highlights? I've never been one for setting New Year's Resolutions - but I think this year is the year to begin. LanaBetty is going to become a bigger part of my priorities and I cannot wait to share my new ideas and projects with the world. What are your resolutions? How have you kept on track? If you failed, why? The Wednesday Treasury this week is all about celebrating. Paying attention to the new color of the year for 2013, Emerald Green, the treasury features fun, sparkly accessories key for ringing in the new year. The real question is, what kind of New Years Party are you going to go to? Past treasuries can be found here and treasuries featuring LanaBetty are here.
