Welcome to the Spring Fashion Report! To show my love and support for the new spring colors from Pantone, I am taking over the Wednesday Treasury to show how great these new spring colors are. There are 10 colors total, so stay tuned, each week I'll cover a new, fresh spring color and include a fun little treasury. Last week we looked at Placid Blue. This week: Celosia Orange! Dress designed by Whit NY Must haves for Spring 2014: A Flamingo and Candy Pink tee shirt dress with a beaded front is a must have for any occasion. Remember the good old tshirt dresses we used to wear in our youth? Like those, only more structured, elegant, and stylish. Take this cute little number: [caption id="attachment_2975" align="aligncenter" width="570"] Candy Pink T-Shirt Dress (Vintage Guy Laroche) by TiaJay[/caption] What do you love about Celosia Orange? Can you imagine yourself sprinkling your spring and summer accessories with it? I like how similar it is to Tangerine Tango (but a little softer and a little more orangey). As a redhead, I don't often wear blues or reds, but I sure love oranges. All kinds of oranges, peach, neon, you name it. What are your favorite colors to wear? Will you try out Celosia Orange? Pair it with Radiant Orchid? Radiant Orchid *Color of the Year* Placid Blue Celosia Orange Violet Tulip Hemlock Paloma Sand Freesia Cayenne Dazzling Blue How is the Color of the Year chosen? 'Spring Fashion: Celosia Orange' by LanaBetty Radiant Orchid may be the color of the year, but Pantone released a full compliment of colors to pair with. Celosia Orange is a fan favorite, blogged by LanaBetty http://wp.me/p1NNmW-L0To distill the prevailing mood into a single hue, the PCI team, led by executive director Leatrice Eiseman, combs the world looking for future design and color influences, watching out for that one color seen as ascending and building in importance through all creative sectors. Influences can include the entertainment industry, upcoming films, art, emerging artists, travel destinations and socio-economic conditions. Influences may also stem from technology, lifestyles + playstyles, new textures and effects that impact color, and even upcoming sports events that capture worldwide attention.
