Some Kind of Wonderful

Posted by 1 on

Very ridiculously excited today! My shoes came in the mail! And they aren't just any shoes; they're the shoes I'll be wearing to my wedding this summer! Eeee! This is just some kind of wonderful! I had previously pinned these shoes to my "Dream Wedding - Dress Me Up" Pinboard (via Pinterest) but was unable to find the shoe available in my size. I suppose wanting shoes from 2012 will do that. I searched, hunted, searched some more, and even contacted the company to see what they could do! I was amazed when one day Alice + Olivia wrote me back and asked what size I was looking for! Unfortunately, after I replied, that lead dried up; they never came back with a response. No matter, I found this extremely obscure celebrity fashion website based out of Florida with incredibly affordable shipping to Canada. And today; they arrived. I particularly fancy the pink rhinestone bows on the ankles![/caption]

With a recent update from my dress designer (Sarah Seven) that my dress will be available and in my hands mid-april, I cannot help but start thinking about how fast the next 5 (yes, 5) months are going to go! My bridesmaids are scheming my bachelorette, the bridal shower date has been set and now I have something to walk down the aisle in!

There are some serious giddy moments going on in this house tonight.

And, as a result; I have not had time to curate a fantastic Wednesday Treasury. Thankfully; Etsy is full of incredibly talented curators! I have borrowed this treasury from Sharon Clancy Designs.

Sharon Clancy Designs has just about the cutest about entry I've seen. "Before creating jewelry, I had a business designing fabric and children's clothing. I also love to sew, draw and paint. I am so fortunate to be able to do what I love. I hope that my work will add a bit of color and joy to the wearer." - I'd be happy to promote her brand; her product is beautiful, the images are clean and she sounds so incredibly sweet! Not to mention her treasuries are bomb-digity.

My wedding colors will be Chartreuse and Light Grey. In keeping with that theme, I am happy to share Sharon's grey treasury:
