10 Day Countdown to Christmas

Posted by 1 on

FYI: My Last Craft Show in Vancouver before Christmas!

I applied, I was selected and I like to think a lot of my hard work has finally paid off in this highly competitive city! After two successful shows at Portobello West Nov. 26/27 and Dec. 10/11, featured photos in the Georgia Straight, and plenty of network contacts and many new friends, I have ironed out the kinks and am really looking forward to attending my last Christmas Market of 2011: the Got Craft + River Market Christmas Show, I just cannot wait!

December 17th & 18th: Got Craft + River Market Christmas Show

Where: River Market, New Westminister

Info: Got Craft has partnered up with the River Market to produce a multi-day handmade market! The market will be running Saturday, December 17th and Sunday, December 18th, 2011. Located in the heart of New Westminster, the River Market offers over 70,000 square feet of retail space. They are working hard to embrace local food vendors, artists and shops and Got Craft is happy to work with them on this new venture. (Read More…)

With all this talk of Christmas and Craft Shows, I am just about all out of steam. I don't know when or where I decided it would be a good idea for me to attend three craft shows this year after taking a 9 month hiatus, but I did and I am very glad about it. I have networked the heck out of my brand, redesigned myself from the ground up and I am so very proud of my product and new friends! I'm talking about you, @lotusevents, @dindong_, @thetinyfig, @lulidesigns, @thericebabies, @kukubee, @fruits_n_nuts and anyone else I might have missed! Vancouver has such a thriving creative craft scene, I am just beside myself with inspiration and encouragement. To celebrate the nearing of the end, I created an @etsy treasury focused on my definition of Christmas. From a time long ago, when tinsel was gaudy and sweaters were ugly. Every week I curate a #WednesdayTreasury and I have such a fun time thinking of ideas. Enjoy this one, enjoy my past treasuries. Enjoy it all!
